Moogle Fanart

Moogles are just too cute. They come from a Game series called Final Fantasy.

Just make me thing about something. I'm making a dressing game just to learn the basic of Flash. I was wondering witch character to draw and I think I will make a moogle. Well... coming soon... Need to do the visual first.

My first ID in DeviantArt. I kept having my ID section empty, so I decided to draw a little something to fill up the section.

It also became my blog ID...

Flower scent

Ref used for the flowers. I didn't know how it would turn out at first. I was just thinking of something magical, a fairytale landscape. I do like the final result. Something different as usual again.

I think I will add some highlight when I will have some time.

Gisaeng

A gisaeng is a korean female entertainer. I used a screenshot of a korean series as reference. I spend endless time just trying to get the face the way I want, but it slightly got better. It won't get me anywhere to still arranged it. Anyway, still made with time and effort. Wish you like it!

Papercraft

I just uploaded all my papercrafts from the first on I did to the last one. Check them out!

Zelda - Goron

A friend request. I don't know about this species, since I'm not a fan of Zelda. The diagram isn't that well done. It is not so bad until we get to the members. It could have been made simpler for the builder. I had a lot of of trouble figuring out where to assemble parts... A little messy as result and not standing properly. There were no indication at all where to glue the members to the body. I wouldn't really recommend this diagram unless you are a big fan.

Final Fantasy IIIX - Vivi

I can't say that I'm not proud of this one! A gift I did to myself... I first saw this when I haven't began papercrafting and at that time, I thought that I would never be able to do something like this. Now that I have done it, I think it went well and I'm more than satisfied!! It takes a long time to get it done, because I wanted it to looks clean and professional. Now that I have all the needed material, I try to put as much effort as I can in my works. I have a new glue that I really like working with and the good height of paper.

The person who did the diagram made an amazing job. Clean, pretty and well done! Maybe, just The boots... I didn't found a way to make it cleaner, but that's all!

Chrono Trigger - Nu

Argh... I just bought think paper, but guess what? It was too thick! It was so difficult to cut and make the folds stand as I wanted. Plus, it was not made with glue, but with parts insert into each others.  My printer began to make those annoying dark vertical lines. Now it seems back to normal.

Anyway, I found this papercraft of the Nu in Chrono Trigger so cute. Also, I did recognize it as soon as I saw it, even if it is in his cubic form.

Chrono Trigger is actually my favorite game of all time... Keep playing it even it it been years.

Ghostbuster

Character from Ghostbuster. I ask a friend what papercraft she wanted to have and she choose this one. It just turned out great. I tried not to fold anywhere. That is why it was a little difficult to make the faces stick together. It is made with light paper. This is why it is no solid, so if we accidentally squash it, it is finish... Well... I will tell my friend to be very careful... But because of that, it looks super puffy!!

Rabbit - Netherland Dwarf

The one I gave to my friend. I didn't mess up! I'm so glad!

Legend of Zelda- The Wind Waker- Purple Link

My first attempt was the green Link. I wanted to give it to my friend, but seeing how much I messed it, I didn't. Here is my second attempt. I did the purple version for change. Here, I realized how to make stand the head and the foots. Made with glue and two 65 gs papers stick together... ya again... Until I get true heavy paper...

Rabbit - Netherland Dwarf

Just a practice before doing the true one that I will give to my friend. I printed it colorless.

White rabbit

Just a rabbit I did. Very easy to make because it doesn't have a lot of faces and we don't need to close it. I used glue. I wasn't able to get heavy paper, so I stick two paper of 65 gs together after having printed it. It is no the best, but it is okay. It just leave some unwanted creases.

Kingdom Heart - Heartless

This papercraft is really easy to do. Because I print it half the original size, it became a huge challenge. I won't do that again unless it's a mistake, because I wouldn't want to waste ink. I don't remember well, but I think I bought glue before building it. It was done with light paper.

This picture show how I needed to deal with the small size of the model. I had to preserve a lot more of area than the cut line. This way, it would stick correctly... but it was still difficult.

I quite happy of the result., because it came out clean and without opening.

Moving thoughts

It is rare for me to draw something as graphic as this one. I really enjoyed making it. It was kinda relaxing. I wanted, as always, to try a new style. I was inspired by an album cover of the music group Nichika.

Here is an alternative. Just having fun playing with the colors and adding some effects. I wanted to try getting the maximum of contrast. The colors were changed by myself.

Disgaea DS

Disgaea is what I'm playing right now.  The DS version is a remake of the first Disgaea made for the playstation 2. It is an RPG tactics game.

It is actually an excellent game. At first, I didn't like it when my friend made me try it. Then I gave it a shot from the beginning and it really appealed to me. The characters are full of personality. The jokes are hilarious. Pretty artworks and interesting gameplay. It's also a game that will last you long. In other words: a good investment. There is so mush to do. The story line last long enough. If you do all the characters and items customization, it can last for hours and hours and hours....

Final Fantasy III- Moogle

Finally! I'm uploading all the papercrafts I did.

It is the moogle in Final Fantasy III.

Let's begin with this one. My second papercraft. I'm trully proud of it, because I did it half of its original size! That's mean that it was almost non-doable.

Also, I was so anger to do it that I rush thing without having the good material. Ya, I used one-sided scotch tape and light paper... Result: I like it because of all the effort I had to put on it, but it is really messy... Parts aren't even closed... I have not realized at the good time that the purple rectangle was to be stick on the back of the wings pattern.. Also, if anyone can tell me what the yellow thingy with two black triangle is used for... I used a metal strip to make stand the antenna.
